Hungary’s Guest Investor Residence program has taken a significant step forward by approving an investment fund as a qualifying option for residency. Hungary Real Estate Development and Investment Fund managed by SPRINT ASSET Hungaria Zrt. is a qualified real estate investment fund under the Guest Investor Program. Under the revised framework, foreign investors can now obtain a Hungarian residence permit by investing in pre-approved real estate funds.

Hungary’s EU residency program is already considered an appealing option due to its low-cost entry of EUR 250,000  compared to other European schemes, as well as its strategic location in the heart of Europe. By introducing the investment fund route, Hungary is broadening its appeal to investors seeking flexibility and long-term financial growth alongside residency benefits.
